Returns Policy
We really hope that you love your Charli Bird purchase.
Here at Charli Bird we want to make your online shopping experience as enjoyable and smooth as possible. However we realise that shopping online isn’t always easy, so please refer to our policy below for refunds and exchanges.
Want a refund?
- We do not accept returns on SALE ITEMS. All sale items are heavily reduced and are deemed as FINAL SALE and are not eligible return/ refund/ store credit/ exchange so please choose carefully.
- We accept returns for change of mind on all FULL PRICED items within 7 days of receipt. Items must be returned unworn, in their original condition with tags attached & where applicable, in original packaging.
- To request a refund, please contact us at info@charlibird.com.au with your order number and purchase date, stating that you would like a refund.
- We offer free shipping to you but shipping costs for refunds are at the expense of the customer. We recommend sending with a tracking number as we can not be held responsible for any items lost in transit.
- Upon receipt and inspection of the return item, we will refund the purchase price via your original payment method. You will receive an email when the refund has been processed. Please allow up to 5 days for the refund to appear in your account.
- Due to health regulations, earrings can not be returned (unless faulty).
Want to exchange an item or size?
- Exchanges may only be made on full priced items.
- Contact us within 7 days of receipt at info@charlibird.com.au with your order number and purchase date, stating that you would like to exchange your item.
- We only stock small quantities of items, so to ensure you don’t miss out, we recommend creating a new purchase for the item or size you want and then return the original item you received. When we receive the original order, we will promptly process your refund via the original payment method.
- We offer free shipping to you but shipping costs for refunds are at the expense of the customer. We recommend sending with a tracking number as we can not be held responsible for any items lost in transit.
- Items must be returned unworn, in their original condition with tags attached & where applicable, in original packaging.
Faulty or damaged items
- If an item is faulty or damaged, please contact us at info@charlibird.com.au providing us with a photograph of the faulty item, specifying the fault, the order number and when the item was purchased. We will then happily organise a refund or replacement.
If for any reason, the item you have ordered is not available or is out of stock, we will contact you and offer you a replacement or issue a refund via your original payment method.

Delivery Within Australia
- All Australian orders are shipped free of charge through Australia Post.
- We will notify you via email with a tracking number once your order has been dispatched.
- Orders are dispatched within 1-2 business days after receipt of payment.
- All orders over $150 will be posted via Express Post, free of charge.
- For orders under $150, Express Post can be selected as an option at checkout for a flat rate of $11.
International Delivery
- We offer international delivery to Canada, New Zealand, United States and United Kingdom for a flat fee of $30AUD via Australia Post.
- When entering your shipping address details at checkout, select the country you wish to ship to and the postage amount will be added to your total.
- Delivery times vary from country to country but generally items will be delivered in 6-10 business days after dispatch.
- Please note that international postal charges do not include any taxes and duties that may be applied by customs in the country where the order is being delivered. The responsibility for any customs duties, foreign taxes or other fees that may be imposed, will remain the responsibility of the customer. We are unable to mark international orders as a gift in order to bypass or reduce any customs fees.

We accept Visa, Mastercard and Paypal.
All prices are shown in Australian dollars.
- Please indicate in the ‘Notes’ box at checkout if you require the item to be gift wrapped.
- Silk scarves are wrapped in our signature tissue paper and popped into a glossy white Charli Bird gift bag.
- All jewellery from the ‘Forever Loved’ range comes in a small white ribbon gift bag.
- Ponchos are wrapped in our signature tissue paper and popped into a white satin drawstring bag.
- All other items are wrapped in white gloss paper and tied with ribbon.
- A selection of gift tags and cards are available for purchase in the ‘Gift Tags & Cards’ section.
- We can wrap and send your order direct. Just tell us what to write on the card (we can include a small gift tag free of charge but if you have a lot to say then we suggest you purchase a larger card!), enter the recipient’s details in the shipping section and we’ll send it directly to them. And of course we’ll ensure there are no prices on the item and there is no receipt!
To prolong the life of your Charli Bird jewellery, please do not wear whilst swimming or showering. Take care when applying makeup, hairspray and perfumes as the chemicals may damage the finish of the metal and stones.
Please follow the care instruction labels on all of our garments.
We endeavour to photograph and display our products as close to the actual colour as possible but please note that differences in computer screens may account for slight colour variations.
We try to provide as much information as possible about every item to make your shopping experience smooth and easy. We provide detailed measurements for every item so grab a tape measure and refer to the size guide listed with each item for assistance.
